Yes, for a 15-lot XAUUSD position: the first 1 lot may get 1:2000 leverage (0.05% margin), the next 1 lot 1:1000 (0.10% margin), and the remaining 13 lots 1:500 (0.2% margin). Your total margin is the sum of the margin required for each individual tranche.
