Who regulates Tradin

In short

Tradin holds two licences: one from the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius and one from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia.

Region Regulator Licence number
Mauritius Financial Services Commission GB25204266
Saint Lucia Financial Services Regulatory Authority 2024-00622

These licences allow Tradin to offer trading services legally while protecting your interests as a customer.

What regulation gives you

Protection What it means
Segregated accounts Customer money is held separately from the company's operational funds
Negative balance protection You cannot lose more than the money in your account
Transparent practices Rules govern pricing, order handling and how the business is run
Complaint resolution Regulators require a transparent process if you have an issue
Legal operations Licensing means Tradin operates according to law, and lets international customers trade safely, except residents of restricted countries

What regulation cannot do

It does not eliminate risk. Trading can result in losing part or all of your invested funds, and regulation does not protect against market losses. Always trade with money you can afford to lose. See Negative balance protection for the one loss limit that does apply.

How to check the licences yourself

  1. Open the Regulation section or the footer of the Tradin website.
  2. Note the licence numbers and the names of the regulators.
  3. Look each one up on the regulator's own official website, the Financial Services Commission for Mauritius and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority for Saint Lucia, to confirm the licence is valid and active.
