My Wallet and internal transfers

In short

Money you deposit is held in My Wallet, and you cannot trade with it there. If your trading account shows zero after a deposit, this is why. Move it across first.

My Wallet is the hub for your money. Deposits arrive there, withdrawals leave from there, and moving money between the wallet and a trading account is called an internal transfer.

You cannot place trades with money sitting in My Wallet. It has to be moved to your MetaTrader 5 trading account first. If your balance is zero after a confirmed deposit, the money is in the wallet waiting to be transferred.

How to make an internal transfer

  1. Sign in to your Tradin account and select Internal Transfers on the dashboard.
  2. Under From, choose My Wallet. Under To, choose your MetaTrader 5 trading account.
  3. Enter the amount.
  4. Select Submit Request. The money appears in the trading account within seconds.
  5. Check My Trading Accounts to confirm the new balance.

To move money back to the wallet, swap the From and To boxes. Tradin charges no fee for internal transfers in either direction, and transfers between wallets in different currencies are supported.

Moving money between two trading accounts

Money cannot go directly from one trading account to another. It always goes through My Wallet: from account A to the wallet, then from the wallet to account B.

Getting money in and out of the wallet

See Deposit money into your account to add funds and Withdraw money to take them out. Payment methods lists what is available to you and how long each one takes.

If the money does not appear

It should arrive within a few seconds. If it does not, contact support.

Account currency

The base currency of a trading account is fixed when the account is created. Depositing in the same currency as the account avoids a conversion charge. A different currency needs a new account.
