Follow and copy a strategy

In short

Open the Copy Trading section in your Personal Area, evaluate strategies on more than return, allocate funds, and set a maximum loss limit.

Step 1. Open the strategy list

Sign in to your Personal Area and open the Copy Trading section. The list shows every available strategy with its performance history, risk indicators and fees.

Step 2. Evaluate the strategies

Do not choose on total return alone. For each one, look at:

What to check Why it matters
Track record length Six months of history says more than six weeks of spectacular gains
Maximum drawdown The largest fall from a high point to a low point, and your best estimate of the worst dip you would have to sit through
Risk score and volatility A steadier equity curve usually means more controlled risk
Fees and billing period The performance fee, any subscription fee, and how often fees settle. See Copy trading fees
Instruments and style What they trade and how often, and whether that matches your risk appetite

Step 3. Allocate funds and start

  1. Select the strategy and choose the amount to invest. There is no fixed minimum investment.
  2. Confirm the subscription terms: the performance fee, any subscription fee, and the billing period the provider has set.
  3. Copying begins. New trades from the provider are replicated on your allocation in proportion.

Step 4. Monitor and manage

  • Track your copied positions and returns in your copy trading dashboard.
  • Protect your allocation. Set a maximum loss limit on it. If losses reach that limit, copying stops automatically.
  • Add or withdraw funds at any time. You can top up or reduce an active allocation without stopping the copy.
  • Stop copying at any time. When you stop, you choose what happens to open copied positions: close them all at the current market price, or keep them open and manage them yourself from then on.
