Become a strategy provider

If you trade consistently and want to earn from your skill, you can publish a strategy and let other Tradin customers copy your trades, earning a share of the profit you generate for them.

What you need

A fully verified Tradin account. There is no minimum balance, no minimum track record and no approval process. Your public performance statistics build automatically from the moment your strategy goes live.

Setting it up

1. Create a strategy from your Personal Area and link it to a trading account you will trade on.
2. Choose a public nickname, strategy name and description. Investors see these rather than your personal details.
3. Set your performance fee, anywhere from 0% to 60% of investors' profits. You can also set an optional fixed subscription fee.
4. Choose your billing period: daily, weekly, every two weeks, monthly, quarterly, twice a year or annually. Investors see and agree to it when they subscribe.
5. Start trading. Your performance statistics build automatically and become visible to potential investors.

What makes a strategy attractive

• Consistency beats spikes. Investors look for steady equity curves and controlled drawdowns, not one lucky month.
• A clear description. Explain your style, your instruments, your typical holding time and your approach to risk.
• Reasonable risk. Strategies using extreme leverage or doubling down after losses attract fewer serious investors and are more likely to fail publicly.

Getting paid

Your performance fee is calculated on the profit your investors make, subject to a high water mark, so you earn only on new profit above each investor's previous peak. It is paid out automatically at the end of each billing period. See Copy trading fees.
