Instrument Trading Hours

Different markets have different opening and closing times. Some are open nearly all week, while others operate only during specific local exchange hours. Knowing when markets are open helps you trade during the most active and liquid times, when prices move the most and spreads are typically tighter.

Forex Trading Sessions

Forex is a global market with continuous trading 24 hours a day, five days a week. Trading begins Sunday 5:00 PM ET and ends Friday 5:00 PM ET. The London & New York overlap is often the most active period.

Cryptocurrency Trading Hours

Crypto markets are fully decentralized and trade 24/7 all year. There are no exchange holidays or overnight breaks. Crypto trading is continuous but can be more volatile at low liquidity periods.
