Closing an order on your Tradin account means finishing your trade. This is how you lock in a profit or stop a loss. All open trades are visible in the Trade tab. Once a trade is closed, it moves to the History tab for review.
How to Close a Full Trade (Mobile)
Open the Trade tab at the bottom of your screen to see all your open trades.
Find the trade you want to close. Tap and hold on it until a menu appears.
Select Close Position.
On the next screen, tap Close with profit… or Close with loss…. Your trade is now closed.
How to Close a Full Trade (Desktop)
Locate the Toolbox window at the bottom of MT5. Press Ctrl+T if it’s hidden.
Click the Trade tab to view your open trades.
On the far right side of the trade, click the small ‘x’ button to close it immediately.
How to Close Part of a Trade (Partial Close)
Partial closing lets you secure some profit while keeping the rest of your trade open.
Start the close process: tap and hold on mobile, or right-click the trade on desktop and select Modify or Delete.
In the final screen, find the Volume field. This shows the trade size.
Adjust the volume to the portion you want to close.
Example: If your trade is 0.10 lots and you want to close half, set the volume to 0.05.
Tap Close.
The closed portion’s profit or loss is added to your account, while the remaining trade stays open.
Closing Multiple Trades at Once (Mobile App)
The mobile app allows bulk operations for fast trade management:
Open the Trade tab.
Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
Select Bulk Operations.
Options:
Option What It Does Close all positions Closes all open trades instantly. Close profitable positions Closes only trades currently in profit. Close losing positions Closes only trades currently at a loss. Select your desired option to close trades instantly.
What Happens After Closing a Trade
When a trade is closed:
The profit or loss from the trade is final and added to your account balance.
The trade disappears from the Trade tab but remains visible in the History tab.
This ensures you can always review your closed trades and analyze your performance.
